Solving PayPal Purchase Issues
Using PayPal
PayPal is a great and easy way to process credit cards and receive payments online without having a full Merchant Account.
What often happens to people who use a PayPal Purchase Link is they create a PayPal account without knowing they do not have to do so to make the purchase. Once you check the box "Create a PayPal Account" during the purchase process an account is set up and your credit card (the one you used to do the transaction) is now associated with that PayPal account.
Later, when you try to purchase a training or item online using the same credit card PayPal will say the card is already associated with an account.
If you are not able to use the Purchase option link for "If you do not currently have a PayPal account" with the card you wish to use then you may need to Remove the Credit Card from the PayPal Account.
Login to the PayPal account you created originally. Click on Account and on the blue bar you will see "Profile". Click on "Profile".
Then click on "Credit Cards" and use the "Remove" feature to disassociate the card with the PayPal account.
Once this is done you can go back and purchase the training or item with the Credit Card. Just remember to use the "If you do not currently have a PayPal account," and click on the "Click Here" button.
Hope this helps clear up the most common issue with working with PayPal purchase links.
